Training in Agility Foundations
Group Training
Join me in group classes to help you and your dog build a great partnership for the sport of agility. The classes are held at Eastside Canine Training Center in Macedon NY.

Agility Foundations 1:
Minimum age 4 months. This course covers early foundation skills that you need to form a great agility partnership with your dog. We will play games to work on connection, confidence, body awareness, focus, and working together. Essentially, this course will help you start your agility team off on the right foot.

Agility Foundations 2:
Prerequisite Agility Foundations Level 1.
Minimum age 6 months. This course covers obstacle and handling foundation skills. We will train jumps and tunnels as individual obstacles. We will learn basic handling skills, including front crosses, rear crosses, and blind crosses to help us put obstacles together in small sequences. We will train safe performances on the contact obstacles (teeter, dog walk, A-frame) and train the weaves up to 6 poles. All of this takes time to learn, so teams should expect to be in Foundations Level 2 for multiple sessions until they meet criteria to move up to Novice agility.
Private Training
Join me in private lessons for agility foundations, either in your backyard or at Eastside Canine Training Center.

My name is Tammi
I have been training and competing in agility for 10 years, trialing in UKI, CPE, and NADAC. My dogs, Riley and Salsa, are complete opposites, so I am experienced at working with dogs with both average and high drive. I'm a former high school teacher and I love to share my dog training knowledge to bring the best out of every dog and handler team.
